Lisa Schwahn of Powell Wyoming has been story telling for 12 years and has been an inspirational speaker for the last 3 years. She loves children and captivating the attention of an audience with stories of all kinds. Original stories are her favorite (most of which center around her family and childhood experiences. She also loves classic stories and especially enjoys the wild and crazy telling of a Dr.Suess tale.
Along with story telling Lisa loves to lead childrens music for churches and camps (around the Wyoming area)and has a Crazy little side kick by the name of "Niki Nonkey" who loves to meet new people wherever he goes.
Lisa has been a Wyoming resident for 13 years. She originally came from the Black Hills of South Dakota growing up in the little towns of Lead/Deadwood. She still longs for the pine covered hills of her home. Her current family is a big part of her life and consists of her wonderful husband Russ and their 3 children Emily, Keithen, and Duane. "My family has been my number one inspiration in my passion for story telling. I want to pass on to my children a love for Adventure, Faith, and Courage...the three essentials for Living!"
The main story Lisa will present is an original story entitled Two Paths One Heart . The story is centered around the lives of two little girls who grow up and pass on a wonderful and intense love for each other to their world. In the story the listener will discover that the language of the heart speaks louder than any words spoken by man and can lead you back to where you came from. The story will be full of intrigue and wonder as it unfolds with music and sound effects.
