Distraction

These dilemmas make life exciting;
In the same breath:  frustrating.
The unattainable object of desire,
Like stars in the sky,
An untouchable fire.

But if you ever give me the chance
to show affection,
I’ll brave the flames
To fill each tender moment
With satisfaction.

And if you ever find the time
for my attention,
I’ll forge the path,
And help you explore
A new dimension.
I’ll take you away,
Where time stands so still,
And make to set you free,
So everything you feel
Is all that comes from me:

The noisy world outside
no sooner disappears
(with rising sighs so near)
Than purest pleasure settles,
Like cascading silken petals.

Melting forms beneath
Crystalline blue light
At the center of your night;
My hungry eyes devouring
With urges overpowering.

Bodies hovering closely
(far too close to separate);
Countless desires to satiate;
Breaking the silent skies:
A pair of lovers’ cries.

So if you ever give me the chance
to show affection,
I’ll brave the flames
To make your beauty shine
With satisfaction.
I’ll show you the way
to make time stand so still -
Intent to set you free,
Where all that you feel
Will come from me.
