>>05.11.03... Hey everyone! Darn, I'm still recovering from yesterday's qualify event for Signal Auto. I had a workout the whole day drifting on the short course at HRP. My body hurts and I have sunburn. Anywaiz, I really trashed my Civic, with tires all hash especially my Nittos on my C2s. But that's okay, I had a lot of fun and more experience after yesterday. Oh yeah, hey Kyle, you almost crashed into me yesterday, damn that was close. But, I would like to say congratulations to all the drivers who made it to the Signal Auto Event, as you know I didn't qualify but it's alright. I hope you guys kick ass out there on May 25th. Check out pictures of the Test/Tune and Qualify down below. Enjoy and peace! -X13- >>05.01.03... Whew...damn I need more coverage for my site. But no need to fear, the Signal Auto showdown is coming soon on May 25, 2003. Speaking of that, damn I went to the Konami website and found out that a "touge" style drifting game came out on the PS2 in Japan. I got previews right here. It kicks ass, check um out :::[PREVIEW 1] :::[PREVIEW 2] :::[PREVIEW 3] >>04.27.03... Bold, black, and beautiful, three words to describe our first featured ride. JRC's 1999 Kawasaki Ninja ZX7 is a beauty. With it's slick frame and brute power, this two wheel crotch rocket would have the ladies drooling for a ride. >>04.25.03... Hey wassup guys and gals! I've been working on my page updating and working on a new format. Last night, the boys from MidStreak Autowerx had a cruise with some of our new buddies who tagged along. I'm glad those guys came to the meeting last night and absorbed some of our info. Kinda last minute cruise though, but eventually there were enough cars that caught the eyes of enthusiasts and i guess haters too. Oh yeah, thanks to the MPs who let us chill at that platform last night, y'all tight man, and I hope we see that one MP around on his bike. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy my updates, although it's not much. Speed Safely! -X13- >>04.19.03... Today, was a depressing day for me. The "Drift Session 2" event happened today and I missed all the action because I had to work. Even worse, I was supposed to enter my car and I was looking foward to compete. I will have no coverage of the event. Sorry for that! Anyway, good luck to Zack, who moved up to Los Angeles to start school and start a new life. The MidStreak crew already misses you Zack! Come back soon! I updated the rides section, check it out y'all!!! -X13- >>04.13.03... Finally, the Defcon Carshow got it's chance to show the island's most exquisite cars. Many people came down to check out the phat rides, music, booths, models, and not forgetting the Bikini and Booty contest, under the night's clear skies. For me, I had alot of fun watching the Booty contest, now that was fun. Anyways, the MidStreak crew hasn't entered a car yet, but hopefully soon. Keep the scene alive and well so we can have more carshows to come! Check out some Defcon Carshow pics :::[CLICK HERE] >> Honda/Acura Cruise
The Honda/Acura cruise was in full affect at Kakaako Park but ended with the rain scaring off most of the cruisers. Check out some of these pics...

Today's Signal Auto press conference at All Star Hawaii was alot of fun. The Signal Auto staff, Kousuke Kida, Drifter X driver, Fumiaki Komatsu, and Drifter XL driver, Kazuya Bai, was present to give us info about the event. They were also there to answer some of the questions that was in the minds of our local drifters. Also on display were the vehicles of Signal Auto, the pair of twin Nissan 180sx drift monsters. I was blown away to see these identical twins sitting poised side by side. Although Kida, Komatsu, and Bai were getting hammered with picture taking and autograph signing, the Signal Auto staff has a great attitude and a great sense of humor. What can I say, I LOVE SIGNAL AUTO!

The Signal Auto Event has now moved to another chapter of it's book. On May 10, the huge field of competitors to see who will challenge Signal Auto was amazing. A day with Toyotas, Nissan, Mazdas, Chevys and Hondas drifting on the short course of Hawaii Raceway Park had judges watching the skills of every driver that participated in the Test/Tune and Qualify. It is now one step closer, now with 18 drivers in the field to battle 2 of Japan's finest, Drifter X and XL. Updates and pictures of drift gallery are now up.
Korean guy + Korean car = A Korean guy with a Korean car. Jon's Hyundai Tiburon is a very clean car. With it's stealthy look, this car would probably intimidate some drivers on the road. Although Jon's machine is pretty much factory, this car is a real fast one. Check it out in our rides section.
JayDuM is the key for this car, well almost. Gilbert's sweet and simple 1993 Integra is one clean car I've ever seen. With it's carbon fiber hood and JDM Integra headlights, who wouldn't mistake it's genuine diamond. Although being close to JDM, hmmm....you decide. Check it out!!!
"Not new, but old skool", yep the quote says it all. Zack's 1986 Celica GTS is a car that is rarely used to be fixed up, but that didn't stop Zack from choosing it. Even with a 16 second ET, this car's engine's modifications would be endless. Hmmm...think the possibilities...hehe. Check 'em out!
With the drifting scene rising with great popularity here on the islands, you will notice that more people into the import scene will be considering to purchase FR cars. Popular drift cars such as the Nissan 240s, or Toyota AE86s(hachiroku). Not for Sherwin, nope. His FF Civic was his only car for drifting. With the influence from fellow FF drifter, Kyle Arai from Drift Session, Sherwin entered many of the Drift Session competitions. Although not as exciting as all the other FR drift stars at the Drift Session, hopefully Sherwin's 1998 Honda Civic will get show points. Check it out!
