Dachshund Rescues Lost Kitten
One very special dachshund, Manfred writes this in a letter to his brother, Zorro Junior.
. . . "Guess what I did? Rescued an orphaned kitten under the back porch. The humans don't usually keep abandoned cats around but I got my way this time. It's my special pet! I discovered him, a grey tabby male, only 6 weeks old, named him "Mike". I carry him around in my mouth like a momma cat. At first Cristie kept him in the bathroom away from us, "until he outgrows my mouth". Now he's 9 weeks old and we PLAY!"
