Ack. My bad.
I hate to say that life is starting to get in the way of this website, which is only partially true. The bigger problem is that my computer is dying, and I have a new computer, but the website, and the software that runs it (FrontPage) are housed on the old computer, which is incredibly slow and laborious, and that is why it is so hard to update the site in a timely fashion.
So, sorry. Results are up, and I've updates alot of stuff, but there is still some housekeeping to be done; namely, complete results are not yet there, and the Streakers page still needs to be updates, so, keep checking back. And what I really need is to figure out a way to host the site on-line; that is, for the pages to exist in cyberspace and be updateable from any computer connected to the internet, and not just my home computer. Anyone know how to do that? If so, please e-mail me.

Latest Updates 1/17/09: OK, the Complete Results, as well as Jamie's write-up, should be up there now. 1/17/09: Well, the Records are updated, and there is a new page for 2008, though the Complete Results link won't take you anywhere yet. I'll get there. I also made a few changes to the all-time top 10, and the Streakers section of the History page is a work in progress. 12/28/07: Corrected team scores for the men's results this year, courtesy of Mike Collins. 12/8/07: Finished full participation totals for 2007, and updated participation records. 12/1/07: The entire site is updated, including results for 2007. Check out the changes to the men's and women's all-time top 10 as well. 12/13/06: More self-reported results keep coming, they are on the Complete Results 2006 page. Also, a correction was made to account for a DQ, so you may see your name moved up a spot. 12/6/06: Added a few more results and corrections to the 2006 page, plus a few housekeeping tidbits here and there. 12/4/06: Updates all over, particularly to the Results and Records pages to account for the 2006 race. Also, the top 10 runners section of the History page has been revised--with a new addition to the men's side for the first time since the list originally began nearly three years ago. 11/28/05: Lots of updates: made corrections to all the Results pages from 1983 to present, and adjusted the Records page accordingly. Also: 2005 results added, Records updated again, and changes made to the top 10 ever page. Plus, the list of "Streakers" has been updated; please check it out on the History page for possible errors or omissions. 11/8/05: Info is now available on this year's post-race party, at the Sports Place in Blauvelt; check the flyer. 10/23/05: Finally cleaned up the Links page; it looks the same but now all the broken links should be fixed or updated; plus I added a few new ones. The biggest change is to the History page, where I have compiled a list of everyone that I know of who has missed no more than one Alumni Race they have been eligible to run in. Find your name on there! 12/2/04: Just some minor corrections to several pages; if you e-mailed me a correction, check to make sure I got it right. 11/30/04: Yup, we got 2004 results, plus updates just about everywhere. Enjoy! 11/19/04: Just a little bit of housekeeping and such, but I also finally got around to posting the flyer advertising the race and this year's post-race party. Sorry it took so long. 4/7/04: Check out the Pictures page for a few more shots of recent races. 1/22/04: Presenting the top 10 men and women ever. Also, I finally found an Alumni record that I own! So, naturally, I had to create a new category of Records so I could post it. 12/8/03: Posted 2003 results, courtesy of Jamie Kempton. Also updated the Results and Records pages to include this year's race; let me know if I've left anything out or miscalculated in any way. 12/1/03: New photos of this year's race on the Pictures page. Updated some stuff on the Contact page and finally have an area where you can buy shirts. Also, I've started going back and cross-referencing previous year's results to match up names and graduation years. I've attempted this is the past with varying degrees of success; it's pretty time-consuming. Please let me know when I make errors or miss something. 8/28/03: Check out the Guilderland Alumni race via the Links page. 5/12/03: Tom Markiewicz sent me a wonderful email that I've decided to post; it can be linked to from the About Mr. Mark page. Also, I'm trying to add some links to make the Results pages more easily navigable. Hopefully it works. 1/23/03: Added Jamie's updates to the History page; also a new story concerning the 1987 race, and changed some Links info. |
