where did it all go wrong?
my problems are all kind courtesy, the behind the scenes manipulations of a criminal gang from the indian police. it is a police man who calls himself CBI "officer" and his cronies from the so called "special branch" who for reasons best known to them, have been trailing me and harassing me for well over a quarter centuary now. my life is being made miserable by the covert operations of these plain clothes men.
You will find the name mr.javert mentioned in my first few web pages; i was making an indirect reference to this particular police man and that was long before things got complicated this much.
i have no criminal record whatsoever and in spite of all out effors by the goons of the indian police, they have not been able to implicate me in any way till date. the activities being carried out by these police men are completely illegal; here it is not me but the "officers" of the great indian police who are in hiding.
you might have been wondering why i am having problems with all sorts of establishments like MCT, tvm telecom and all. it is not that i am a mischief monger. i can get along with people famously.
for example in trivandrum, in my first year, the head of the department gave me a flattering report - Exemplary conduct, Exceptionally punctual in all matters, Extraordinarily proficient in understanding new and difficult matters, Extremely resourceful, keen interst in academics etc., etc. the hod had never known me before i joined the department in trivandrum and i had no extraneous influences on her. so obviously i had earned the remarks. permit me to say, that was the real me.
the very next year, that is in 1996, it was the opposite extreme - an adverse report, and that too, by the very same person!
what could have been the reason for this drastic change? is it usual, if at all possible, for a middle aged male to under go such a transformation in such a short time ? is there some thing called a male climacteric?
and do you think i am so naive, as to pick up a quarrel with the person who was going to be my pg examiner within the next couple of years if i could have avoided it?
if your answer to the above questions is a sensible "No", then where did it all go wrong?
well, it is like this - the first report was the hod's unbiased assessment of me. but by the second year the police man who calls himself CBI "officer" had dug in and there was a live in police man in the department. the fellow is a trained crook and with his cunning and the help of the nincompoop battalion of the department the atmosphere became spoilt and every thing went topsy turvy.
of course there is one more thing; i am not a disciple of m.k. gandhi or jesus christ. you try to be funny with me and i will pay you back in the same coin and with interest - many a great man has learnt this lesson the hard way. so things regressed from bad to worse and worst.
what i am trying to impress on you is that my altercations with the college authorities was part of a proxy war the police man has been waging against me for about thirty years now. the police man who calls himself CBI "officer" has realised from past experience that he is no match for me and that he will be no where in a straight fight. so he resorts to covert operations and uses labile characters like mct or trivndrum telecom, to achieve his nefarious ends. in this particular instance it was the college authorities who were acting as his stooges .
when i am fighting these stooges, i am just trying to break the police man's stick. that does not take things very far for once one stick is broken he will get another one; and in trivandrum there is no shortage of such "sticks". thus if any one thinks that with my retirement from govt service things are going to settle, it is a big mistake. my target should be the person who wields the stick, that is the policeman himself and not his stooges. this is not possible as long as the wretch is in hiding; i have to perforce smoke the police man out.
once the police man is brought out into the open, promise you me, i will finish him off in a jiffy, just like that.
i dont need a police man to tell me that i should not take a wrong turn; there is something called self discipline. i respect the law, not the whims of a police man however big his political clout and muscle power.

about the officer partthe highest ranking police man of the CBI in trivandrum is a deputy superintendant of police. So one can make a guess as to what exactly this CBI "officer" actually is. For that matter the head constable directing traffic at the road junction is also a police officer.
in short the wretch introuducing himself as CBI "officer" is just another police man.back
mr. javertHaven't you read "les miserables"? you must read it - it is an excellent book in more than one way.

extraneous influencesin fact when i reported to the hod in trivandrum for the first time, i vividly remember her commenting to some one who was sitting with her "ithu avanalla" (meaning this is not him). they were expecting some one else who was supposed to (and who later did) join the pg course in the department about whom she has already been primed.
