From the time she picked up her first guitar at the age of 5, Crystal has been creating music. Whether it was fronting her first band at 11 or her work with Theatre New Brunswick, she knew the stage is where she wanted to be. Winning the K-100 Atlantic Canadian songwriting contest at age 16 with the song 'No One,' the young singer was immediately thrust into the spotlight. With the award-winning song receiving regular airplay and her own appearances on various television and radio programs, Crystal soon found herself taking on another role, this time behind the mic on her own radio program on CKCW, Moncton. Relocating to Vancouver, Crystal has found herself at the helm of several bands in recent years. In addition to solo performances, Beers has lent her vocals to projects like the r&b groove group 'the Bukowski's,' and currently can be seen fronting the pop/rock group 'Real.' Continuing with her own writing, two cd's are in the works ~ a collabrative effort with 'Real' and a solo project.
