The Book of the Law

Book of the Law

Liber AL vel Legis, colloquially known as "The Book of the Law," is the foundational document of Thelema. It grants Crowley his authority, denotes him as the prophet and declares the new æon. Required reading. Note that these editions contain the fascimile of the original manuscript as commanded by the text.

This work contains the corrected text of the 1938 edition as well as a facsimile of the handwritten manuscript.

For the first time the Book of the Law is offered in a deluxe, hardcover edition fittingly issued in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Liber AL vel Legis's transmission to Crowley.

The Holy Books of Thelema

This book contains those Class 'A' materials which are not tied to the upper degrees of the OTO or A∴A∴.

The first collection of writings received by the author in trance states, this material forms the basis of his teachings. Extensive bibliographies and a preface provide a context for how the material was received and written. Produced and supervised by the OTO

Little Essays toward Truth

One of my favorite works, this is a collection of short essays on variouos topics.

Some of Crowley's clearest and most mature thoughts on sixteen concepts fundamental to human existence reflected in the light of the Qabalah: Man, Memory, Sorrow, Wonder, Beatitude, laughter, Indifference, Mastery, Trance, Energy, Knowledge, Understanding, Chastity, Silence, Love and Truth.

The Book The Deck

Book of Thoth

Thoth Tarot Deck

The only Tarot book worth a damn for the best Tarot deck in the world. Only after learning this material would one of the Thoth beginner books be of any use, as this book is not aimed towards the lesser use of the Tarot (i.e. Divination). There is also an essay regarding how Crowley implemented Liber AL's statement that "Tzaddi is not the star".

The Book Of Thoth is now a classic in the field. It is used by students of the Golden Dawn as well as those who want to understand Crowley's tarot. This is the definitive study of the Egyptian tarot and is used as a key to all Western mystery disciplines. Color plates of eight cards are also included.

As of 2009 February 25, this tarot deck is being reported as out of print by Barnes and Noble.

Liber Aleph Vel CXI : The Book of Wisdom or Folly

A collection of essays meant to educate Crowley's Magickal Child in Thelema and Magick. Required if you want to understand Thelema.

Written in New York City at the end of the First World War, this has been described by Crowley as "an extended and elaborate commentary on The Book of the law, in the form of a letter from the Master Therion to his magical son".

As of 2009 February 25, this book is being reported as out of print by Barnes and Noble.

Magick Without Tears

A collection of letters meant to expand upon the material in Crowley's Liber ABA. Required if you want to understand Thelema.

Crowley at his absolute best. An annotated and very personal encyclopedia of magical instruction covering the Qabalah, the major schools and symbols of magick, meditation and astral projection, the tarot, astrology, pentacles, lamens, talismans, and much, much more.

The Chinese Writings of Ko Yuen

The Tao Teh Ching is one of the most poetic & sublime of the previous æon's sacred texts. In this work, Crowley reworks Legge's translation & adds comments from a Thelemic perspective. This book contains Crowley's version of the Tao Teh Ching, his I Ching and Khing Kang King
