Xenda'ths: Writings & Ritual

Atu XIV -- Art This state of the great Work therefore consisted in the mingling of the contradictory elements in a cauldron. This is here represented as golden or solar, because the Sun is the Father of all Life, and (in particular) presides over distillation. The fertility of the Earth is maintained by rain and sun; the rain is formed by a slow and gentle process, and is rendered effective by the co-operation of air, which is itself alchemically the result of the Marriage of Fire and Water. So also the formula of continued life is death, or putrefaction. Here it is symbolized by the caput mortuum on the cauldron, a raven perched upon a skull. In agricultural terms, this is the fallow earth.

Authors List

Authors are listed below.  Those of you familiar with the previous incarnation of this website will notice a drastic reduction in the number of authors.  This is not intended as a slight on those authors who have been dropped, rather it is indicative of the change in focus that directs this website.  This website is meant to showcase the work of Aleister Crowley, and myself.  I am including with these two authors selected works of Thelemites who were or are instrumental in Thelema today.  This is not meant to indicate that I consider myself as important or influential as Crowley, Achad, Sabazius or any other author who may appear here.  Simply put, it is my website & I hold the perogative to include my work.

I have also decided to include selected works by other authors who I feel are instrumental to Thelemic thought, or should be in my ever so humble opinion.

Humor

Laughter is by far the most important trait. Are we not exhorted to "Let the rituals be rightly performed with joy & beauty!" (AL II:35)?

The Art of Magick

In armour of leaping flame let the Adept rage through the Universe, majestic and irresistible as the Sun.

Let no eye behold him unblasted; let him strike upon the necks of the ungodly.

Let him be a mighty light of comfort, and the father of all fertility.

Let him send forth rain in due season, and the earth grow green at his coming.

Let his planets whirl upon his wheel; let him send forth his comets as angels unto his brethren; and let him give light to all his realm.

Let no eye behold him unblasted; let him strike upon the necks of the ungodly.
