The Yridians are a humanoid species characterized by grey, wrinkled skin. They have a reputation for being information dealers, willing to sell rumors and secrets. The Yridians maintain at least one class of large destroyer-type starship, as well as smaller shuttles. Thought extinct by both the Federation and the Borg, who designate them Species 6291, surviving Yridians were discovered by Starfleet Captain Ransom.
