Here we see a top down view of one of the 'basket towers' in the outer wall of the city of Khar Th'Sekt. The tent pavilion, with its central post topped with blades; and, the five arkhs or talons (resembling the thorns of a viznaga, or cactus) fixed into the kerb around the edge are distinctively Irekei features.

The pavement of the top of the walls is made of slabs of rock patterned by selective polishing into the appearance of stylized flames and symbols of Krykhalin. It is harder and smoother than sandstone, almost glassy, yet it provides a sure footing that will not erode even under the footsteps of generations.
