Damming report handed to Prime minister.
Anti cybernetic protesters in London last week handed a document which they say will condemn the industry to a parliamentary official at number 10 downing street. Chairwomen of the ACL (Anti Cybernetics League) Miriam Dowde led a 5000 man precession through the capital's streets on a busy Saturday afternoon in their quest to gain more attention for their cause.

In a speech after the document was handed over, Miriam Dowde ex CEO Cyber Electronics said “this document will be a damaging blow to the multi national cybernetic corperations and their practices. These people are unethical and will bring about the downfall of human kind.”

Asked what was contained in the report Miriam Dowde explained “The report outlines several contravenes of ICSO standards. On the face these companies preach about utopia and human advancement but a underlying evil is corrupting these companies …we gladly milk the cow but we don’t watch what the cow is eating. We are being fed technologies that we don’t need and these companies grow out of control. “

A governmental spokesperson said the prime minister had accepted the report and officials were looking into the matter in detail but no further comment was made on what companies may come under investigation.

Massive Merger.

Financial speculation in the third quarter shows the predicted 10 % rise in the share value of cybernetic manufacturer Omni Corp. Analysts predicted the rise with the advent of their merger with pharmaceuticals giant SmithJonesBremner.

The total GDP of the merged companies now exceeds that of both North America and Europe combined. The amount spent on R&D by both companies exceeded $200. billion in the last fiscal year and is expected to rise with the converged technologies.

Omni corps success comes from enhancements that enable the body to go without nutrients for days. SmithJonesBremner are said to have been actively taken over by Omni corp as part of a convergence strategy against the major food companies.

Scientist to be linked to Omnicorp's Mainframe.

London, England – A top eminent scientist has agreed to be fitted with the latest cybernetic technology in a bid to ease fears amongst the science community.

Dr Edward Carter a leading spokesperson among the biological community has agreed to a temporary connection to Omnicorp’s mainframe computer which will test high level electric signal stresses to Dr Carter’s Brain.

Although there will be no two way communication between the two major progress will be made in seeing how the human brain copes with a new sensory stimulus; that being the electrical signals sent by Omni corps computer which mimics the complicated language of the brain.

Neuron Surgeons will connect the mainframe through Omni Corps’s Cerebral communicator which is a high speed data transfer device which is similar to early modems. Omni corp. say the procedure is 100% safe and the professor will only feel no physically affects from the connection which will last for 30 minutes. The professor’s brain activity will be monitored by leaders in the field of cybernetics and biology along with major players in the cybernetic industry.

Asked about the experiment Dr Carter expressed his excitement saying “It should be good experiment; I am honoured to be part of such ground breaking science.”

The science community hail the experiment a positive move that will show how safe Human Computer communication will be. Similar experiments have been conducted on animals to test neural reactions among lesser primates although the results were inconclusive as the only feedback was measured levels of biological stress. The scientist hope Dr Carter will experience waking dreams as the computer attempts to communicate albeit in a simple way with his brain.
