Right now, the only stuff I'll have up here are one (or maybe a few more) poems, and links to friends' sites. Hopefully there will be much more later.
The darkness is shrouded in light.
Bury the dead alive and
resurrect the dead,
as fortune may have it, we do.
The vines drip with blood as
the eagles fly,
and the people lie,
to themselves as well as others.
The forest whispers in the night
alive and pulsing with sound.
But though we pray with all our might
Nirvana is never found.
The heart, so filled with love and hate
turns against the mind.
Can we accept our solemn fate
to bear the burden of time?
Mother Earth reings solemn
while seducing Father Time,
who remains heedless to our calling,
for we ignored his sign.
The sea consumes the shores of rock,
and the otters swim and turn.
Then the shepard calls out to his flock,
and in Rome the Christians burn.
The pagans dance around the fire,
shouting words of praise.
The poets continue to inspire,
the young ones all are crazed.
On the sultry eve of Midsummer
Romeo and Juliet make love.
Atalantis passes all the runners,
I wonder what you dream of.
The darkness is shrouded by the light,

Confusion grows during the night
while to reach the stars we strive.
And amidst all this chaos lies,
behind locked mental doors,
the answers to all our cries:
the sacred elements four.
Fire, Air, Earth, and Water,
is all this struggle for not?
Mother Earth births Father Time's daughter,
enemies embrace those they've fought.
And when all this chaos comes to terms,
flung open are all the door.
I wonder, as the Earth turns,
are we better off than before?
For in the past we believed we knew
and practiced all the Mysteries.
But people today live without a clue,
have we finally lost the key?

I'm a high school freshman at a simply LOVELY catholic high school (actually its quite nice...I'm just not catholic). I'm on swim team (in the winter), track, and in the school play (wizard of oz....don't get me started on the munchkin songs...) I'm absolutely OBSESSED with the xfiles, and mildly so with miki, deedlit, rei, faeries, (and post-it notes.)
