Punk Music has been the music of choice these day, with the commercialism of the music, we wanted to provide a different level and sound to the Navajo Reservation. So, Punk Music has been all we hope and even more. Bands like: Blackfire, DownPlay, The Cremains and Ethnic Degeneration who brought a style of Punk Music to the Rez. This is the first step in changing the preception of Punk Music on the Navajo Reservation.

These Bands and numerous others have provided that raw sound that music is all about. So, take a chance and try something that's not mainstream, quit following the crowd...lol

Even in the last two decades, it is difficult to find any analysis of the influential effect that Punk Rock had on Pop Music and youth culture. And rarer still are essays detailing the emotional and intellectual undercurrents that drive the more overt fashion statements that most people attribute to Punk. The death of Joey, Johnny & Dee Dee Ramone shocked me as did many millions of punk fans around the world. Personally it was the Ramones that got me into punk music back in the late 70's with Rock'n'Roll High School and from that point, I always followed punk with a passion. The Ramones had a far-reaching impact in the world of music, creating and defining punk rock as we all know today.

So with the passing of Joey, Johnny and Dee Dee Ramone, so a little bit punk history leaves this world, but his spirit lives on in all Punk Music..
