Cheese Balls Ingredients: 1/2 pound Wispride 1/2 pound cream cheese 2 Tablespoons butter 2 Tablespoons cream sherry 1 cup chopped walnuts Have all ingredients at room temperature. Blend all ingredients except the walnuts in a mixer at medium speed or by hand with a rubber spatula until thoroughly blended. With wet hands, shape into baseball sized balls and roll in the chopped walnuts. Refrigerate until firm. Serve with assorted crackers. Serves: 4 |
PARTY CHEESE BALL Ingredients 2-8 oz. packages cream cheese 2 c. stredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 T chopped pimento 1 T chopped onion 1 T chopped green pepper 2 tsp. worcestershire sauce 1 tsp. lemon juice Mix well and shape into 1 large ball or 2 small balls. Roll in finely chopped walnuts or pecans. If making day ahead, cover ball without nuts and refrigerate. It's best served when almost room temperature. |
