At the beginning of Love Hina. We find out that Urashima Hina
(Hina Baasan) has decided to leave the Hinatasou to travel all-over the world.
Upon her decision to leave, she also leaves the tenants there in a confused
situtation. Hina Baasan decides to leave the Hinatasou under the management
of her grandson, Keitaro.
In a later episode, the past of the Urashima family is revealed. Hina Baasan,
in her childhood spent some time with Moe and her father, Keitaro's great
grandfather, Urashima Keisuke. Hina Baasan, also kept a record of all that
has gone throughout the history of the Hinatasou and remembers every single
person who has been there. It is unfortunate that she has left on a world-wide
hot springs tour to recapture her youth, or she could help jumpstart Keitaro's
memories. However, one cannot live in a dream forever.
