In the beginning of Love Hina, Noriyasu Seta does not officially show up until
a few episodes later. Seta makes his first appearance in the series in Episode
5, where he is seen chasing after Keitaro in a van, to return Keitaro's student
ID paper. However, we do not find out his identity until later on in the series:
Episode 14.
In episode 14, Keitaro is out looking for a job and becomes an assistant to
an a Toudai archeologist, Seta. Seta is a nice character, it is very difficult
to hate him. He is the only person in the series to have been accepted to
Toudai and completed his education there. Seta spends a good amount of his
time traveling all-over the world excavating. After watching Love Hina, one
will realize that Seta only goes after ancient turtle civilizations. He excavates
sites with his adopted daughter, Sarah Macdougal (who's information can be
found on the navigational toolbar). In that same episode, it is revealed that
Seta is already acquanted with Haruka, Kitsune, and Naru.
When Kitsune and Naru were still in high school, Seta was their private tutor.
However, one day, he suddenly left and didn't come back until now. Also, it
is revealed that one of the Hinata girls had a crush on Seta. Who could it
be? Does Seta really like that person as well? Or does he like someone else?
