The Great Elder of Namek was the only survivor of a draught on Namek and the parent of all the Namekians as well as the creator of the Dragon Balls and the Dragon Porunga. He has the power to unleash potential strength, which he performs on Krillin and Gohan to show their real power. Elder is very old and dies in the Freeza saga. He gives his powers to a Namekian called Muri before he dies.
