Gyuu Maou, or The Ox King, is the father of Chi Chi. We do not know about her mother but she probably died when Chi Chi was young. In Dragon Ball, Gyuu Maou lived in a castle on Mt. Frying Pan, and got into a rage when it caught on fire. He was also one of Kame Sennin's early pupils. He does not have a very big role in the series. His appearance changes from Dragon Ball to DBZ, as at the start he wears goggles, but later on he substitutes them for normal glasses. His hat has horns on it as he is the Ox King. Gyuu Maou is very kind and loves his grandson Gohan a lot
