Welcome to Baby Know-it-all's Y&R Advice Column |

Hi! My name is Baby Know-it-all and I give advice to the residents of Genoa City. They write in to me about their many problems. Of course, they don't listen to me but I always give them my opinion about what I think they should do. Well read on! |

Dear Baby Know-it-all,
My ex-wife is sleeping with my brother! My own brother! I can't believe he would do this to me! I'm so outraged and angry but I'm even more angry that she's taking my daughter with her! My daughter will be so confused about her mother and uncle that she will be much better off with me! I love my daughter and I want her to come live with me. I think that I can win custody of her but my ex-wife warned me not to because she says that she will win. Should I take legal action against my ex-wife for my daughter's sake?
Sincerely, Neil Winters, in Genoa City. |

Dear Baby-Know-it-all,
I'm so confused! I don't know what to do. I'm sure you know the situation at Jabot. I am the deciding vote. I will be the one who decides if Brad will stay or go. I am so worried! What should I do?
Sincerely, Ashley Abbott, in Genoa City. |

Dear Undecisive Woman,
Why can't you just make up you mind! You are always the deciding vote! I know this is a very important vote that will affect many lives, but life must go on. You could save a lot of people stress if you would just make up your mind. Everyone would be figuring out how to handle the situation instead of worrying about who you will vote for. Either way, the fate of the company could be at stake. I say vote for Brad but every decision has consequences. This is a risky decision and either way someone is going to be mad at you. So just make up your mind fast before you bother me anymore and maybe next time you won't be the deciding vote. Nah, probably not.
Lots of attitude, Baby Know-it-all. |

Dear Hypocrite,
I can understand you being upset and hurt that your brother and ex-wife are sleeping together but didn't you just tell Olivia, your brother's ex-wife, that you wanted to explore romantic possibilities with her? You are the biggest hypocrite in the world! You and Olvia stick your noses in the air so high when really you and Olivia are at the same level as Dru and Malcolm. Who made you God and gave you the right to judge Malcolm and Dru as dirt? Only you would think so highly of yourself. As for Lily, she is not better off with you. Sure she'll be confused, so just explain it to her carefully. Either way, she's going to be confused about her mom and uncle or her dad and aunt. My advice: Be grateful that Dru even lets you see Lily. Legal action will only make Lily more upset about the divorce. Plus you will lose. Lots of attitude, Baby Know-it-all. |
