The Yadkin River Waterfowl and Retriever Club exists to promote quality in breeding, training and field testing of purebred hunting retrievers.  The members do all possible to bring the natural abilities of their dogs to perfection.  The club regularly holds AKC and UKC sanctioned tests for hunting retrievers. We have regularly scheduled training days for the dogs and their handlers to learn and excel as both competitors and hunters.  The club and its members also work to promote the education of the public at large in the use and training of hunting retrievers as tools for the sound management and conservation of our waterfowl wildlife resources.
