reminds me of you

making me remember

it ended too soon
and like a phrase
it was too short
making me
wonder
if it ever did happen
or was it just an illusion
a fantasy
a conjure image
which I so long for
but it couldn't be
even for a short while
I felt
that it was right
you were right
for me
we belong together
only it was
the wrong time
the wrong place
and we could
never make it right
but could only
treasure
the moment
the now
for we couldn't have
forever
only a few
stolen moments
in time
and help us
remember
that once
we have love

paradise

the other half of you
