Dear friends, Welcome back. It's so good to be able to continue with the 3rd part of my diary. I'm glad that the examS are finally over, I've graduated from high school, and now I'm enjoying my holidays! Hooray! Yahoo! Bravo! The final year in high school is definitely a tough one for me. Since the beginning of the year, every day I have to race against time. Homework, assignments, activities, choir practices, minutes of meeting, reports, debate, exams... They're driving me crazy! Sleeping less than 6 hours a day is normal to me. The most dreadful period must be... June - July. Sometimes I just don't eat anything until 4 something in the afternoon after a light breakfast at about 6 in the morning! It's not that I'm on diet, (I never do! I enjoy eating.) but because I don't have time to eat at all! I feel that as if I'm fasting like what the Muslims do during Ramadan. That's terrible! Anyway the result of hard work is fruitful. I've obtained good grades in my exams as well as outstanding performance in extra-curricular activities. I've been learning music since a very young age, but only a few years ago I realized my love for music. Music is not only my passion, but it has become part of my life. I don't know how can I live without music. During these few years back I'm trying my best to do as much as I can in music. Apart from the piano, I'm also playing the violin now. I've experienced being a pianist for my school choir and conducted my school Chinese Orchestra. I've also tried to arrange musical compositions, as well as composing. It's all kind of fun. I enjoy them. Looking back I never regret, though I've sacrificed a lot for music. Now I hope that I can be one of the violinists in an orchestra. If you ask me about my aspiration for music, my dream is to be like Lee-Hom, an all-round musician. Alright, enough about myself. Apparently you are dozing off. : ) Let's move on to the updates this time. Actually I won't call it an update, it's more a revolution. I've actually revamped the site. I've introduced more advanced elements such as Flash, animated gif, frame etc. The layout has improved, so has the user-friendliness. How is the logo? I kind of like it very much. And also all the buttons, I made them all by myself!!! Content wise I've added a new section called Sentimental Moments, which I highly recommend all of you to browse and read with your heart. I've changed the name of the 'Secrets' section into Info Center, which I think more appropriate. As usual, new articles and photos have also been added. As I have said, the population of Lee-Hom's fans is increasing, so is the number of visitors of Lee-Hom's Planet. I'm receiving more and more emails and messages regarding Lee-Hom and my site from time to time. Apart from suggestions and comments, there're all sorts of request: Some asked for URL to Lee-Hom related websites, some asked for his personal email address, some asked for more latest news of Lee-Hom in English, one even asked me to translate the lyrics into English! I'm always joking with my friends that well... the webmaster is getting famous, on the other hand busier! Anyway I find it interesting to attend to every single email or request from my visitors. I always try my best to help them, as I feel that it's my honour to do something for Lee-Hom. In fact, it has become my responsibility to popularize the genius's music to the world!!! Since I've finished high school now I'm in a stage of making decisions. To be honest I'm still unsure of my future prospects and career. If I were to further my studies somewhere else, it would be an obstacle to the updates of my site. But I promise I will try my best. I'm too heavy-hearted to give up the Planet I've established. Anyway nothing has been confirmed yet. I'll keep you all up-to-date with my latest move. Hmm.... I think that's all for this time. I'm not going to repeat what I've mentioned in the index page. So... yup, that's all! Thanks for reading The Webmaster's Diary. Till we meet again. Ciao! Love, Yan Min |
