     a political instruments
and a key to identity.
     a proof of power.
this i believe is not true
     we live in a multi-
     lengual world for one
     reason.  Centuries ago,
     one group of people
found an object
and named it.  Another group
     on the other side of the
     world did the same (with the same object), but
named it something else.
     In other words, language is
     a matter of opinion.  You
     as an individual have the right
     to call an      object what you will . . . .;
It only becomes proof of power when 
              the majority shares the same
     subconscious opinion of what to say
           as words, and does not 
     approve of the opinion of the minority
.........human ignorance and vanity help make
                        language what it seems to be.
