PO Structure
Comprised of all YCIS parents and staff, The PO is managed by a Board of Directors and Officers of the organization.
Board of Directors
Board of Directors are elected by the general membership of the PO. There is currently one director representing each class level within the school.
2007-2008 Board Member Directory
Elections for the Board of Directors are held at the end of the prior school year. Elections for the 2008-2009 Board of Directors will be held in May 2007.
Officers
PO officers are elected by the Board of Directors and consist of a President, Vice President/Head Room Parent, Secretary, Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer.
Room Parents
Room parents serve as the parent liaisons between the PO and the individual classrooms. Each classroom has one or two room parent volunteers who serve to organize and communicate school-wise and class-specific events to all parents in the school.
PO Meetings
PO meetings are held monthly, on the second Friday of each month at 8:30 am. All interested parents and staff are invited to attend.
