The Millennium Dome

The Dome is a circular shaped building and inside it is. There are very interesting things inclueding our millennium tapestry which we made expesialy for the dome.Inside there are diffrent things which people all around the world took part in.It took about 18 months to build.

Millinium Stadium

Last year year 6 and some of year 5 went to the stadium to see Wales play Finland.Even though Finlad beat us it was still an enjoyable trip. The stadium can hold a capacity of 72 thousand people and the most amazining thing about the stadium is that can open its roof during the games!

Millennium Wheel

There is 32 carrages around the wheel and they can each hold about 30 people.By the time you get to the top of the wheel you can see most of London, the good thing about the wheel is that it does not rush round as the other wheels do it takes the wheel about 30 miniuts to do a whole circle.Which means you can have a nice picnic even in the rain.

What happened in the MILLENNIUM

Apart from the Dome,Wheel and Stadium we also built the big glass house for excotic plants and latly the Millennium rocking bridge was opened, and millions of people qoued up to walk across but some people felt unsuer and not safe on the bridge. So two days later they closed it down and are thinking weather to keep it or not.

Tony Blair and his wife (Cheri Blair) have  recently had a baby boy called Leo.The name "Leo" was chosen after his grandfathers name that was"Leo Blair" who is Tony Blair's father who was honared to have his grandson have the same name as him.

This year our school has reaseved a Millenium cup (with our school logo).
We were all honered.
The big thing for the millenium seems to be larver lamps! The big sport car for the milliennum is
