Sam is the only one of the half brothers that I have met. My mom and a couple of my sisters and I, went to Ky for a visit and went to his house. It was so great to meet him. Also we met his friend, Nora, a very friendly lady. Sam was somewhat like my dad, and yet he was different in some ways too. Sam seemed really friendly and we took alot of pictures with him and had a good visit. Was hoping he would come to the Maupin Family Reunion that we had in 2003, but he didn't get to make it, hope you come next year, Uncle Sam.
