Special Event Decorator in Dallas/Fort Worth area. My husband [we married in 1990, some think we've been together alot longer] and I live in Euless, Texas [west side of D/FW International] and we started, and are the coordinators/chairpersons for the City of Euless Christmas Parade of Lights. Look us up at our web addresses: www.flash.net/~gingypoo or www.flash.net/~gingypoo/gingers and you can see what I've been up to for the last 9 years. I had been in the printing industry for 35 years prior to being booted out the door June 1998 after 18 1/2 years of service for Dow Jones and Company Inc.~The Wall Street Journal in Dallas, Texas. You can see us around the Metroplex participating in the many parades that are listed on the web page for the "award-winning" Gingy-Poo Choo Choo Xpress. During the holidays we are Santa and Mrs. Claus going to children's homes and nursing homes. We've been into many private homes doing this also. Our city we live in honored us as "Vol! unteers of the Year" and were featured on Channel 5's "TEXAS PORTRAIT". We were honored at a special dinner by United Way and they nominated us to carry the Olympic Torch when it was being passed thru Tarrant County. I've been getting a "memory" book of our experiences so that maybe someday it will be passed on in the family.

1962-1963 was a great year for me. I've made one Class Reunion and that was the 10-year reunion. I loved being on the newspaper and yearbook staff. The senior celebrations, prom, and the things we all got into were certainly "mild" compared to what they get into today! Hello to Everyone!!! GO REBELS!

Comments/Memories:

I've been an engineer and a manager at Rockwell Collins for over thirty years. Happily married to an Oklahoma girl, and have two girls now attending Texas A&M University. Seldom see anyone from Richland Hills...although we stay in touch with a few. I did enjoy the 5 and 10 year reunion of the Class of '63 and the 1998 reunion for the combined Richland/Haltom classes of '62, 63' and 64'. Still remember Richland High as a special time with some very special people. The opening of a new school, the first Richland-Haltom game, the parties and dances, and learning to be young adults.
