I live in Richland Hills, so I didn't go far. But who wants to. Birdville is a great school district, so when my husband, Rick and I moved from Arlington(his home town) we naturally chose Richland Hills, my home. We own a plumbing company in Hurst. All three of our daughter will graduate from Richland. Class of 91, 99 and 2002. I am active in RHS PTSA and still have the Rebels in my heart.

Update 3-13-03: I have just left Kosovo after 16 months there, and am currently located in Turkey supporting our military preparations.

After graduation from RHS I attended UT-Arlington and West Texas State Univ. I graduated from WTSU (Now WT A&M)in 1977 and was commissioned into the Army on the same day as a Lieutenant in the Corps of Engineers. In 1975 I married Sharon Naughton from the RHS Class of 74. Over the last 20 or so years we travelled the world in the Army (Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Israel, Greece, Jordan, etc..), had 2 wonderful children (Darcy is finishing high school and Tate is working and attending Lansing Community College in Michigan) , and finally retired from the Army. I now work in N. Dallas as the Architect/Engineer Project Manager for "Carlson", a nationwide design/build/IT firm. We specialize in designing and building internet, telecommunications, banking, and data processing facilities. My daughter actually attended RHS in 1998-99 before we relocated to Allen, TX. I note with sadness the passing of the Rebel Flag and the name Rebels.

I was in ROTC and I remember fondly shooting the .22 in the basement rifle range and marching in the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans every year on the ROTC Drill Team. I remember the mad dash everyday at lunch for the Macdonalds, Burger King, or Whataburger. Oh well, our political correctness, fear of guns, and fear of students (closed campuses) make these fine memories a thing of the past for our children.

I have been with Midland College for the past twenty years where I manage a 6,000 seat multi-purpose facility for sports and entertainment. I have been married for 23 years to Lisa and we have two sons Brooks a Sr. @ Midland Lee where he was a member of the back to back state championship football teams and will graduate in the top 20 in his class and Brett a freshman also at Midland Lee.
