Christmas has been celebrated for 
      over thousands of years. It was originally created by the people of the 
      Christian religion who believed that the 25th day of December was the 
      birth of Jesus. There were many celebrations and festivals that people had 
      and still do today. The Christmas traditions include the exchange of 
      gifts, the arrival of Santa Claus, Christmas cards and decorations, and
