The origin of Santa Clause begins in the 4th century with Saint Nicholas. He was a very generous man, particularly devoted to children. After he was buried, Italian sailors stole and removed all his remains and removed them to Italy, greatly increasing St. Nicholas' popularity throughout Europe. His kindness and generosity made people believe that he could perform miracles. The Dutch brought this idea of St. Nicholas to America, which the tradition of "Santa Clause" began.
