The Xaositects are semi-insane individuals with seperate ideas and actions
that sometimes work together. In effect, they strive to become the
living embodyment of chaos. That doesn't mean they run around everywhere
causing chaos and damage everywhere they go. For the true Chaosman
(term used regardless of gender, especially as some have a pretty hard
to determine gender because they can where almost anything), the best goal
is for people to have no idea what to expect from you. A chaosman
is just as likely to start burning a house as they are to stand on their
head or re-wallpaper the living room. Truly, they become true agents
of chaos, and will eventually bring others to madness as the stones in
their street are reorganized to form rude formations. Just grin and
start crying...

Class Features:
Weapon
and Armor Proficiency: Chaosmen do not gain proficiency with any new
weapons, armors, or shields.
Hide
from Law: Chaosmen are adept at avoiding magical detection (though
not avoiding visual inspection) when the forces of law try to pin them
down. All Chaosmen permanently act as if under the effect of a nondetection
spell, but only from the divinations of lawfully aligned characters and
creatures.
Babble
Zone: Chaosmen have a way of inspiring chaos all around them.
At second level, a chaosman can once a day use this spell-like ability
to create a zone around himself. All in this zone are affected as
if they were targetted with a babble spell cast by a sorcerer of
the Chaosman's class level. This zone has a ten foot radius around
the Chaosman, and every two class levels there after adding five feet to
the zone's radius.
Ray
of Chaos: At third level, the Chaosman can create a Ray of Chaos,
which is a ray effect for the spell random action. This spell-like
ability can only be used once a day per class level.
Locate
Lost Object: Fourth level and higher Chaosmen gain the ability
to find lost objects. If the object is truly lost (not intentionally
hidden), there is a 50% chance that the Chaosman instintively knows where
the object is when asked. The percentage of success is adjusted by
5% times the Chaosman's wisdom modifier. This exceptional ability
may only be attempted once for any one particular object during a Chaosman's
lifetime.
Touch
of Insanity: Once per day, a Chaosman can try to share the inner
chaos of his mind with another. With a successful touch attack, the
Chaosman activates a confusion spell upon the target, as if the
spell were cast by a sorcerer of the Chaosman's class level.
Chaotic
Luck: Once per day, a Chaosman can ride the waves of chaos as
they affect his life. Immediately after a roll is made, the Chaosman
can force an immediate reroll of the same die. This must be done
before any further rolls are made (can't wait to see if critical hit is
successful after a natural 20). This supernatural ability is only
available to Chaosmen of at least 6th level.
Shroud
of Chaos: When Chaosmen reach 7th level, they gain a multicolored
shroud of chaos around themselves. All physical and magical attacks
against specificly the Chaosman (not area affect spells) have a 10% miss
chance, similar to concealment. Further, this supernatural ability
includes normally automatic attacks, like magic missle spells or
coup-de-grace attacks.
Protection
from Law: An 8th level Chaosman or better benifits for a
permanent protection from law effect, exactly like the spell.
This spell-like ability can be raised or lowered as a free action every
turn.
Chaos
Burst: Once a day start when a Chaosman first reachs 9th level,
he can create a burst of chaos identical to the chaos hammer spell.
This spell-like abilty is as if cast by a sorcerer of equal level as the
Chaosman's class level.
Cloak
of Chaos: When reaching the 10th level as a Chaosman, he
becomes a true master of chaos. Three times per day, the Chaosman
can invoke a cloak of chaos, indentical to the spell as if cast
by a sorcerer at the Chaosman's character level. This spell-like
ability is also enhanced, allowing the Chaosman to alter the colorations
of his shroud of chaos into recognizable forms last one round, including
phrases of no more than 4 words.
