The Believers of the Source believe that all the planes are a testing ground,
and every single person is being tested by the universe, either for eventual
assension to the next rung in the cosmic ladder, or to be nocked down a
few spots. The Godsmen (term used for members of both gender) don't
know what they are being tested for (but most have very different theories),
but all believe they are being forged, like steel into a blade, towards
their ultimate destiny in the multiverse. However, since every being
can potentially become a power and above (the gods we know are just individuals
more advanced towards assension that most), every being deserves respect.
This makes them a hard bunch to dislike.

Class
Features:
All the following are features of the Godsman prestige class:
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Characters who take a level
of Godsmen learn no extra weapon or armor proficiencies.
Aura of Respect: Because of the respect for the spark of divinity
in every sentient being, Godsmen give off an aura of respect that makes
it easier to convince others in many ways. This means that when dealing
with any being above animal intelligence, the Godsman gets a +2 to any
charisma-based skill check.
Test Blessing I: At seond level, a Godsman may bless or curse
another taking a test of the multiverse. When the other is making
a skill check, ability check, or attack roll, the Godsman may declair as
a free action, that she is bestowing a +2 or -2 to that roll, before that
roll is made. This supernatural ability is useable once per day at
second level, twice a day at sixth level, and thrice a day at ninth level.
Forge of the Planes: In understanding how the planes forge
people, Godsmen of third level or higher gains an understnad of the multiverse's
abilty to shape us, and thus gains a +2 competance bonus to all craft skill
checks.
Token Award: Factol Ambar is known for awarding those who
are most loyal to the Godsmen cause. At 4th and 7th levels, the Factol
gives the Godsman PC a Etherial Token. This magic item is a one time
use item that plane shifts the PC to the Etherial plane, regardless
of where they are coming from (with exception from in Sigil or within range
of a dimensional anchor spell.
Cycle of Existance: While all Godsmen reject resurrection,
as it prevents a soul from moving on to the next level, they do support
reincarnation. As such, immediately upon reaching -10 hitpoints,
a Godsman of at least 5th level is immediately reincarnated, coming
back as something new. This spell-like power can only work once in
a Godsman's existance.
Token Blessing II: This power works exactly like Test Blessing
I, except, that the Godsman can use the ability of granting a +2 or -2
to any roll she makes. This supernatural ability is usable once per
day at 6th level (and is seperate from the uses of Test Blessing I), and
twice a day at 9th level.
Multiversal Understanding: At 8th level, the understand of
the multiverse continues to grow, giving the Godsman a +2 to any knowledge
skill she possesses.
Test Blessing III: This ability is not a sperate ability,
but makes the bonus from Test Blessings I and II grow from +/-2 to +/-4.
Ascention: A Godsman of 10th level comes much closer to ascention
in their current life. The creature becomes and outsider, granting
fire, cold, electricity, sonic, and acid resistance 10 to the Godsman,
and grants damage resistance +1/10.
Spells Per Day: Every even level, a Godsman become more proficient
in spellcasting. The Godsman gains 1 level of a previous spellcasting
class for the purposes of spells per day and casting level. All other
bonuses of gaining levels are ignored (such as turning undead, familiar
powers, or metamagic feats). If the Godsman doesn't have a previous
spellcasting class, at 2nd level, the Godsman casts spells as a 1st level
bard, and every even level gains spellcasting skill as a bard would.
