Characters of the Planescape Forever Campaign

Explaination:

This page will provide you with descriptions of each of the characters in this campaign. You will be able to see the active characters, past characters, and often a DM's view of the character, the player's view, and sometimes the character's view of himself. The characters of the Planescape Forever campaign are: Bes'lanna*, Darious*, Eshel*, Gloria*, Jordan*, Kizzie*, Raldage*, Sar*.  Current characters have a *.

Active Party:

Unoffical Party Leader:
Darious -
DM Perspective: Originally coming from the Forgotten Realms Wounds Campaign, Darious started planehopping to find his kidnapped nephew.  Later finding out that he was responsible for the kidnapping in the first place (boy, does he hate temporal paradox!) nearly drove him nuts.  However, after going into the planes for various quests, he's finding himself acclimate to the travel well, and is intrigued by all the planes have to offer (like new languages to learn).  This sun elf wizard finds himself shadowed closely by the wizardess Kizzie, and enjoys "tutoring" Eshel towards becoming "a mighty boom guy".

Bes'lanna -
DM's Perspective: This racist sun elf is fiercely loyal to Corellon Larethian, the head of the Elven pantheon.  She doesn't trust non-sun elves, and has real problems with many of the other PCs (especially Kizzie [who threatens Elven purity with Darious] and Eshel).  She might get along with Darious, but the way his grandmother keeps trying to hook the two up, she's avoiding him except when Kizzie seems to play.  Holy quests keep her tied to the group, but nobody is really sure why.  Interestingly, this is the least dexterous elf anyone has known, and "boar-dancer", as her name translates, has a slight bit of a cross-eyed problem.

Eshel -
Character's Perspective: "Hi, I'm Eshel the mighty kobold warrior!  Quit laughing!  I didn't cast the 'Homie G Funk' spell on you, so you shouldn't laugh.  Anyway, I am mighty strong and beat many enemies (inluding an owlbear) by myself.  I cool! Darious is mighty boom mage who teach me to be like him and cast nasty spells (only one I know is laughing one though). Raldage is my friend and protects me, and tells me what life with big people is really like.  Oh, and don't mess with Gloria.  She Mighty Mistress of the Boom.  No good for the messing.  OK, you go now and spread word of mighy me!"

DM's Perspective: Eshel is a NPC who somehow survived against an owlbear with his friends becoming its meal.  He also was abducted to Al'ma'ki, like many of the characters, and stuck with the party for protection.  To keep him busy, Darious taught him a "spell" where he eats a snail and then yells 'Homey Gee Funk' at the top of his lungs (usually spitting up at them).  The sight of a kobold doing such is usually enough to make anyone laugh. Raldage tend to look at him as a pet, and he's the GM's outlet for acting silly in the middle of the game (and often a healthy humor break).

Gloria -
Character's Perspective: "'Allo, I'm Gloria Tauwell.  My home is Sigil, and I love it, even the mezmerizing falling falling falling of the rain, dark and beautiful.  I recently had a vast portion of my memories erased... I'm sure the stupid cleric-of-a-god-I've-never-heard-of-before is responsible.  Yes, I must punish Raldage.  Now don't take me wrong!  I am a good person.  I know I am. Lyle notwithstanding."

DM's Perspective: Gloria is a human sorceress born and raised in Sigil, giving her a unique outlook on life and the planes.  One of only 2 native planars, she helps the group perspective.  However, none of them take her seriously.  In fact, it seems to be the groups sport to try and annoy her (especially Raldage, who took her cheering for a amazon striking for all females as a person treachery).  She's the group's whipping girl, even though she doesn't really deserve it.  She's got Pip, her ferret familiar, and Milnot, a bladebat construct, as her true companions.  Her mother owns a tavern, and her father owns a blacksmith where Sar trained and met her.

Jordan -
DM's Perspective: Jordan is a human ranger who was working with a Thayan Enclave pretending to be peaceful in the Dales.  Then he was accidently kidnapped by Darious playing with the telescope in the White Tower on Al'ma'ki (as Kizzie was).  However, with patience he's adapted to the situation well and likes these companions over his old ones.  He's even gotten known as the group's "fearless leader", as dubbed by Raldage.  His bow skill is well noted, and he's managed to stay stnading for a good amount of time now, and has good relations with pretty much the rest of the characters (though he is a little suspicious of Kizzie, knowing a little of her background).

Kizzie -
Character's Perspective: "Hello, my name is Kizzie.  I was rescued from Red Wizards who I now know were fooling me into working for them.  After being rescued by my dear Darious, along with Jordan, I've stayed with him and even suckled his little nephew while we protected him.  Now we all journey together and the others help guide Darious and I around.  Well, all except for that vile little Bes'lanna who is always sticking in her nose where it doesn't belong.  However, we all do well together enough."

DM's Perspective: Kizzie is a human wizardess NPC who is being hunted by Eleni for stealing her husband.  Her strangely changing pregnancy when first met with the group, and then other minor form changes haven't aroused suspicious with most of the PCs, and only Darious hasn't noted the constant hitting on she sends his way.  Most of the players (correctly) consider her a viper in their midst, and her time will come.  But now she's a great distraction from most of the nasty plot pieces!

Raldage -
DM's Perspective: Raldage is a planar human cleric of Nuada, the Celtic god of war and warriors.  His sense of humor and skill in casting is what lead Gloria and Sar to go with him to Toril in the first place, where all the real problems began.  Since then, he's had a prankster mentality targetting Gloria.  He's also taken Eshel under his wing to teach him the joys of non-kobold society.  He's sometimes known as the party's warrior, after deeming Jordan the "fearless leader".  Finally, after a minor spat, he and the "competition cleric" Bes'lanna have gotten along at least fairly well (though he mocks her lack of humor often).  This jolly man keeps the game rolling.

Sar -
DM's Perspective: This dwarven fighter came from a world he's only known the Underdark of, with no clue what the world's real name is.  Since then, he's been searching for a way back home, with no luck, even as he works for the chant master Rasca.  Knowing Gloria through working with her father, they travelled to Toril with Raldage seeking a new class of weapon.  Instead, they found a new adventure basis.  He's fairly quiet, but fairly jovial at the same time.  This master of the axes is mighty strong and mighty focused on his own desires.
