They can quickly provide freelance teachers with students (depending on your locality) though the lesson fee is fixed. You are badgered a little to teach their curriculum (but it's not policed and it can be useful if you are inexperienced). You can't ask for travel expenses (even if you offer to go out of your way to teach near the student). You must also pay for your own drinks in a cafe, but hey, buy your own drink, cheapskate! My advice is not to go out of your main locality at all. This kind of flexibility on the part of teachers goes unrewarded except for opening up the possibility of more students. You have to sign a contract and teach students for a minimum of six months (same place/time). All this adds up to making it slightly inflexible for teachers.
