This was a very tough weekend for all race fans. Adam Petty, scheduled to attempt his second Winston Cup race was killed the previous Friday at New Hampshire in a practice crash. Lowes Motor Speedway closed Victory Lane in honor of Adam and flew this flag. It was quite an emotional gesture of the track. God Speed Adam!!!
