THE GOOD OLD DAYS!!!!

Here I am in High School and college!!

For better or worse, here I am in much earlier times!
if you're not interested just scroll to the bottom and move on!

Here's the "graduation" picture. Never was real pleased with this and neither was my Mom. I was at the beach the day this was taken and I had a tough time keeping my eyes open!

This is a photo of me in the "nets" during the 1980 state "midget" finals. We won the game in overtime 5-4. I can not describe the feeling of winning that game (recall that the USA hockey team won the gold medal that year). I was so nervous I got sick during the intermission.

This photo was taken in 1982 when I was a senior. My mom took this picture. In the middle of the 3rd period I took a real cheap shot and was knocked unconscious (mom took photos of that too!!). We were winning the game 4-1 with 4:00 minutes left but we walked off the ice due to my penalty for jumping in the penalty box after the guy. Officially we forfeited the game.

This is me in 29 Palms California in the summer of 1984 on active duty in the Marine Corps

This was a college photo. Taken in my fraternity house. I have been told that I am a man of 1000 faces. This is not one of my prettier faces. In fact, on the back of this photo is written "Grizzly". This is from October 1986. Compare to my Marine Corps photo!!(above!!)

Taken at 6:45 AM!! MORNING PARTY!!! Our fraternity has a long tradition of morning parties during pledging (when I pledged "hazing" was not defined). Here is a self-portrait of a waste product!

This is from later in the morning of that party. I was pledgemaster of my fraternity and this was when I was about to conclude the pledge proccess. The pledges have not seen me without facial hair until this point (in fact, this was when the members knew I was going to let them become members). Look at my hair length. I was "sowing my oats" for sure. This was AFTER I was on active duty in the Marine Corps.

Just thought this would give insight into me. The fraternity and hockey experiences played a very large part in my life. I have remained close to many of my fraternity brothers and it still gives me an excuse to "act like a fool" (quote from Chris, my wife- too numerous to nail down to specific dates). I made and lost some great friends there and they should be acknowkledged here!! ***MORTY and DAVE - man, I miss you guys*** Thanks to all of you!
