After the rain began the cars went in and checked to see how long it would
rain. They then announced that they would run some laps on the new rain tires. Jeff Gordon took only 2 laps before he went
in.
Mark Martin put in numerous laps. It was pretty neat watching the cars go that fast in the rain.
What was real interesting was the brake light in the rear window and the fact that the drivers complained that the window
fogged quickly.
Here are Jerry Nadeau and Ken Shrader practicing in the rain. There was a significant amount of spray off the rear of teh cars so "drafting" was out. Anyways, it was fun to be there with my boy. He called his Mom on the cell phone telling her that they were "racing in the rain!!!"
