Introduction To The Troop Program

"When you become a Boy Scout, something important happens to you. You arn't just joining an organization. You're entering a world full of exciting adventures. You belong to a group of friends that wants to go places and do things."      "As a Scout, you'll hike and camp, learn how to live in the out-of-doors, and discover many ways to care for the land. You can cook your meals over a camp stove and identify all kinds of plants and animals that are part of our environment. No matter what happens, you'll know how to take care of yourself. You'll develop strength, confidence, and good judgement. And you can find out how it feels to be a leader."      "Scouting experiences will help you discover that you can make good things happen in your life by planning and setting goals and then reaching for them. You're in charge of yourself and your experiences, and there's no limit to what you can do - if you just put your mind to it."      If you are reading this and you are not currently in Boy Scouts and you are in the age of 11-18 please consider joining Troop 92 or if you are outside of Milpitas, any Troop that is near you. It will be a decision that will last with you for a life time.
