I listen a lot of music. I like Acoustic and Folk Music...but I listen Rock Music as well.
Itcomes from our tradition, it is playable everywhere and there is a song
for any occasion. So what's less than Rock or Pop music? Folk music is
an easy way to get in contact with different coltures in the world. Someone
make confusion beetween New Age and Acoustic music. Actually I think that
many New Age productions are very poor...but there are some ecceptions.
I don't want to make any distinctions, so I'll tell you about my favourite
artists without classifying them, even because in certain cases would be
very difficult.
John Renbourn
John is one of the best guitar fingerpicker I know, He played anything from blues-jazz to old medieval song. He's one of the founders of Pentangle group during the sixties. Unfortunately he's getting lazy, he's last albums are simple compilations of old successes or live recordings.
Alain Stivell
Alain is one of the most famous celtic harp player in the world. He's earlier productions are reviva;s of ancient songs from Celtic music, especially from Bretagne, his native country.
The albums I prefere are:

Franco is my favorite italian fingerpicker. Born in Abruzzo, he lives in Bologna. At the moment he's using Taylor guitars but I prefer when he played his Larrivee.
Discography:
Fairport Convention
Clannad
Stefan Grossman

Believe me, I like her for the music.

Jethro Tull are a rock band quite famous during the seventies. Their early style was principally influenced by english folk, instead of blues. Maybe that's the reason I like them.
The Jethro Tull Music Archive is an interesting link with a lot of stuff (including other links).
Wow, Ian Anderson has published the official Jethro
Tull site. It's really well done and there's a lot of nice stuff. Quick!
go to www.j-tull.com and see what the
band has prepared for you. A courious thing, the site name is not www.jethrotull.com
because someone has registered it before and then tried to sell it to the
band. If you know Ian Anderson you can imagine his reaction.
Here there are some interesting addresses:
