Mount Guiting-Guiting National Park
A recent addition to the National Integrated Protected Areas
Programme in 1996, Mt. Guiting-Guiting covers 15,265 ha of the central
part of Sibuyan Island, Romblon Province. Known for its verdant,
moss-covered slopes and cascading waterfalls, the peak rises to 2,050 meters.
Domestic airlines fly to Tablas Island. Sibuyan Island
can be reached by ferry via Romblon. Guides can probably be arranged in
one of the towns on the south perimeter road such as Taclobo or San Fernando
(not shown on this map).
