More About Me!

I am 42 years old, born in CA (as a duck?), raised in AR, and "grew up" as a beach bum (hee hee) in VA. When ya gotta work on Halloween, might as well be festive! I'm a Tall Gal too!!
I lived in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, just 12 miles from the Mexican border, for 10 long years. Boy, did I stick out like a sore thumb! More about South Texas, for the nature freaks, like me! :)
I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX during my Junior year. Here are a couple pics of my best friend (graduated in December 96) and me. The first one is taken at Trevino's in Reynosa, Mexico and the second one is on SPI.

We had her graduation party at The Sports Shack in Nacogdoches and I even got my little sister in! But we didn't stop there!
I graduated in May 1998 with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, minor in Reading and an ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, TX. I studied hard on campus .....NOT!!

I now live in Central Florida and am teaching in theVolusia County School District. I'm still planning on pursuing a MEd in Reading.
