Australian Crags, Canyons and Caves

Welcome to Peter Monks' Australian Crags, Canyons and Caves page. The name is now pretty misleading, since I haven't done much canyoning or caving in a while and I'm not living in Australia at the moment!

Since mid 2002 this site has fallen badly out of date due to other projects taking priority (primarily the online Sydney climbing guide). I'm hoping to update the site with all of my recent trip reports in the near future, although the individual route descriptions for all of the routes I've done will take a back seat (since I can't remember all of the routes I've done in the last year and a half! ;-)

Disclaimer
I once heard climbers described as being like children who run across the road without looking. They might not get hurt the first, second or even hundredth time, but because they are doing something inherently dangerous, the odds are stacked against them. Don't forget that rockclimbing is a dangerous sport which has significant potential for serious injury or death!!

I have taken all possible care in the preparation of this site, but take no responsibility for anything that happens to you. In other words, take care while you're climbing, and use your own judgement to determine what's safe and what isn't.

Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the good stuff.

Finally, my apologies for all these stupid advertisements that keep popping up.
