The crag is a bit reminiscent of Sissy Crag in Sydney, being quite overhung for most of its length. The rock, however, is quite different, being much more gritty and having horizontal slate intrusions here and there. Unlike Sissy, there are also many easy problems to warm up on. The crag is capped by quite large rooves, so its great on those sunny summer afternoons when most of the other Blue Mountains crags are baking, and is probably also well protected in the rain.
