Rod is one of those weekend climbers of the 9-5 fame that really should just work through the weekend

His undying enthusiasm for the sport is only outdone by his uncanny ability to psyche his way out of any climb.

This diagnosed condition, known as "crag virus", is often worsed by fellow climbers offering support, giving words of comfort and support.

Rod can often be heard at the many local crags and gyms pronoucing his love of the sport and the rock in a tirad of abuse Despite this crippling disease, Rod has worked tirelessly at getting Crag X of the ground, even if most of that work was nagging his fellow climbers into action. Rod has become a valuable member of the Crag X team, mostly due to the fact that he is the only one that owns a car, plus the drill. Rod can be seen to the right bouldering at Arapiles while Ian spots him.
