Inspired by a fellow Scout's bout with bone cancer, Josh determined that the reading and viewing material for those confined to hospitals and in shelters was seriously inadequate and oriented to the younger patient. Josh decided that he could help increase the variety and quantity of the books and tapes. One Saturday, several volunteers passed out fliers asking for donations of books and videotapes. The next Saturday, they came back to collect the donations.
