Information and Education

North Dakota Fur Takers has educational booths at outdoor sport and trade shows statewide, manned by volunteer members.

Many members present activity programs in schools, showing children the tools and heritage of the modern trapper.

North Dakota Fur Takers works with the North Dakota Game and Fish Department on education and provides input on furbearer management.

We have developed an Educational Manual in cooperation with the North Dakota Game and Fish Department.
