Two Mississippis!
There are actually two Mississippi rivers with watersheds in Ontario.
One flows through ten states and Ontario and empties into the Gulf of
Mexico. The other drains into the Ottawa river
and eventually the Saint Lawrence River.
The watershed for the other Mississippi River
is managed by the Mississippi Valley Conservation Authority.
Visit the Ontario Conservation Authorities
page for more information.
