  • Kamchatka: Russian Cossacks,
    Horses and Bears.

    Doing this tour you will satisfy your curiosity of a wildlife explorer. Besides you will have an unique opportunity to penetrate into the culture, history and traditions of local indigenous people. We will start going from Petropavlovsk to the center of the Kamchatka peninsula by a Russian military off-road track "URAL". Along the 400 km way we will see a great variety of landscapes, mixture of junges and tundras, scenic views of volcanos . On the coast of the Kamchatka river King Salmon fishing is superb. Riding on the back of horses through the untouched nature we will meet different representatives of Kamchatka fauna and local tribes just as it were together with Russian Cossacks who explored the region 300 years ago.

    14 DAY'S ITINERARY

    Day 1. Arrival to Elizovo airport. Coach transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Welcome dinner.
    Day 2. Driving by Russian off-road track "URAL" to the Kamchatka river (approx. 400 km). Overnight at the lodge house Moose.
    Day 3. Aquaintance with riding of local horses, fitting sadles. A riding introduction course from local wranglers. Fishing.
    Day 4. Riding from Range Moose - Karakovaya river (20km). Overnight in tents.
    Day 5. Riding from Karakovaya river - Smevo lake (24km). Overnight in tents.
    Day 6-7. Riding to Galyamaki lake (30km).
    Day 8-9. Riding to Esso village. Overnight in a private village house.
    Day 10. Excursion around the Esso village, the ancient settlement of the Even tribe. Local museum. Swimming in a pool with hot thermal water. Driving to the Range Moose. Rest. Fishing.
    Day 11-12. Rest and fishing at the Hunter's Lodge.
    Day 13. Driving back to Petropavlovsk. Hotel. Sightseeing coach tour around Petropavlovsk.
    Day 14. Transfer to the airport. Departure.

    Services include: all accommodations, meals and transportation within Kamchatka, horses and wranglers assistance on the route, tents, local guides and interpreter.
