    Mt.ELBRUS ASCENT, the Caucasus

    From time immemorial the majestic Elbrus attracts many people. Locals named it Mangitau - the mount of thousand mount heights. Being an extinct volcano, it is built up from granits, gneisses and volcano rockes - tuffs and diabases.     We offer 10 days itinerary of the ascent during the high season from July to September. This is the most active area for climbing and mountaineering in Russia. You will be guided by our top experienced mountain guides in this region. The cost depends on the group size.

    The cost for individuals ( less then four persons in a party) is $930.00 per pax.

    In this tour you can explore ancient traditions of nomadic tribes living in the geographical center of Asia. Breathtaken beauty of Siberian mountains, natural loneliness and shamaistic belief make this remote corner the most mystic and spiritual place in Russian Asia and Siberia.     KAMCHATKA: BROWN BEARS AND VOLCANOS.

    Visitors to Kamchatka find it difficult to believe that the locals are used to the volcanoes, but they are. Their smoking summits are an essential part of their lives. There are dozens of them, active and dormant, old and new, big and small. For centuries now, people and volcanoes have been living side by side in peace. The volcano is the symbol of Petropavlovsk, the capital of Kamchatka, and part of its city emblem.

    Programs of Wild Russia consist of 9 days easy trekking and rafting "Bears and Volcanoes", 11 days horse back trekking and kayaking program "By Cossack's Trails" and 14 days horseback trekking itineraries, which include off-road jeep ride, horse back trekking, kayaking and helicopter flights.

    Best season for these programs is from August to October.
